Revised Combat System

How to use the revised klaive dueling system for normal combat.

Player's all have offensive and defensive dice pools.  The offensive pool is calculated at the start of each turn when you call what you will do.
So, if Gnaws-on-Chicken-Bone decides to claw a minion of the wyrm, he would get his brawl in offensive dice, and his default dodge in defensive dice.  In this system you get a number of flex dice equal to your dexterity.  After that, combat is taken out a lot like klaive dueling.  Combat maneuvers are used from the combat book, applying modifiers for initive, adding dice for accuracy, extra damage for damage.  On a hex map, players spend 1 die per square moved, and may move up to their dex in squares.   (some gifts may allow more)  Maneuvers with a + to movement allow you to move that far before you must spen dice.  Spending Rage gives you your dex in flex dice extra, and a relevent combat ability extra in an offensive or defensive pool.

Offensive pool can be used only for offense and moving

Flex can be used for offensive, defense or moving.

Defense pool can be used for defense, to move, and too add soak dice for blocking.
