Article.10 8-20-99Making Rolling Damage more RealisticRolling Damage can easily be the downfall to realism in combat. Whenever I run "fair" combat (rolling dice in front of players) it seems like i can get 5or more successes to hit, but only 1 for damage. I am currently in the process of making ideas that work to make harder hits actually do more damage. Firearms- Automatic firearms do less damage then normal semi-autos in combat in
the old system. Here's how I work out the damage systems for it. For Normal combat, I would adapt these charts:
